Selina Copacabana Hotel Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro

The hotel had a good location near Copacabana beach and offered views of the beach. The rooms were spacious with clean bathrooms, but the daily cleaning was not thorough, and there were long waiting times for breakfast. The staff in the restaurant seemed unmotivated, and there were loud, youthful guests. The coworking areas and kitchen were in poor condition and dirty.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was undeniably perfect, with stunning views of the beach and close proximity to Copacabana and Ipanema. Despite the small rooms and occasional noise from other guests, the service was exceptional, especially the multilingual staff who went above and beyond to assist with anything I needed. The dining experience left much to be desired, yet the facilities, like the delightful rooftop restaurant, added value to my overall stay.

The hotel is in a good area in Copacabana, easily walkable to Ipanema, and offers clean rooms but with a slight damp smell. The service was friendly and helpful overall despite a bit of a language barrier. The location is fantastic, with amazing rooftop views of Copacabana and close proximity to lovely beaches. The dining experience was hit-or-miss, with some disappointing food quality. The facilities were decent, but the hotel could improve the breakfast service.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the initial room I stayed in was dark and small for the price and positioning, moving to a corner room improved the situation significantly. The comfort level was good, but the noise from the air conditioner was disruptive, although the issue was eventually resolved and all was well after that.

The hotel is ideally situated in Copacabana, offering breathtaking views of the beach. Despite some shortcomings like noisy guests and unenthusiastic restaurant staff, the cleanliness and overall good condition of the facilities compensate for these issues.
